Guest Bedroom Design

According to me a guest bedroom is the hardest to design.

Following aspects can be considered while designing a guest bedroom.

A guest is a guest !

This type of room has got a slightly different approach in the entire home. While designing a room for guests is not just providing the basic amenities and furniture. 

He/she must feel homely in this space. Just imagine a hotel room and your own room in your home, what's the difference? of course homely ness.

It is difficult to achieve this in a space which shall be used by an outsider. Since a guest is not here to stay forever, it is the duty of the designer to see that his stay becomes comfortable and he/she should enjoy the show.

This space should ideally have an attached toilet. If your home is a two story structure, preferably it should be on the ground floor. This does not disturb the privacy of the remaining house members.
